Metro East Montessori School was founded as a non-profit educational facility open to anyone, regardless of race, creed, or color.

We ask that parents interested in Metro East Montessori School first tour the school and observe a class in session. An appointment to tour and observe may be made by contacting the school Business Administrator. At this time you will be given an
information packet containing an application.

Upon receipt of application accompanied by the $25 application fee, the parents will be notified of acceptance for enrollment. If enrollment is full at the time of application, the applicant’s name will be placed on our waiting list. When a space
becomes available in that child’s age group, the parents will be immediately notified by our Business Administrator. If there is a waiting list, priority is extended to siblings of currently enrolled children. Registration forms, tuition agreement,
medical and emergency forms, and other pertinent questionnaires will be mailed at that time.

Completion and return of the tuition agreement, accompanied by the appropriate registration fee, constitutes reservation of a space for your child.

    Tuition:

  • School year begins the 1st week of September each year.
  • Your 1st tuition payment should be paid no later than August 1st of the current year.
  • Payments should be made by the 1st of each month.
  • Late fees will be applied to payments that are received after the 20th of the month
  • Partial months are not recognized for payments or for credits.
  • Returning students will be charged a nonrefundable deposit of $500.00 to hold place for next year. This is not an additional charge. It is deducted from the total tuition owed for the following year.
  • The field trip fee covers the cost of admission and transportation for standard annual field trips. Spontaneous or un-planned trips will be billed separately and charged to parents as they occur.
  • BEFORE AND AFTER CARE IS CHARGED AT $5.25/hr.

    Discounts:

  • LUMP SUM DISCOUNT: a 3% discount will be applied if the tuition is paid in full on or before September 1st, 2017. The lump sum discount may be combined with the sibling discount and the military discount.
  • MILITARY DISCOUNT: each child enrolled with a military parent will receive a 3% discount.
  • SIBLING DISCOUNT: each additional child enrolled at Metro East Montessori School will receive a 5% discount.
  • REFERRAL DISCOUNT: REFER YOUR FRIENDS TO METRO EAST MONTESSORI SCHOOL! Receive a $100 tuition credit for each family who enrolls.

The Montessori Parents' Group sponsors various social and fundraising events throughout the year. These are fun events that allow the parents, staff members, family, and the surrounding community to have a great time while getting to know each other and raising money for the benefit of our children.
